About the work
Stephanie Ellison is an artist from Southern Illinois. She has worked in a range of mixed media and painting. In her most recent project, she's turned to lost wax casting sculptural and wearable works from wax, melting sweets and chewed gum.  Erasurehead was an early work and only 3 will ever be made. Only one with blood red garnets. Cast in sterling silver from dental wax chewed by the artist.
